Every day is a new adventure...

Last night I fed Ellie some carrots. She has been getting bored with the rice/oatmeal rotation, but I wanted to wait until she was swallowing correctly. She liked the carrots much better than bland old cereal. Plus now I have orange face pics!

I also bought a Jumperoo from a friend at work (used=cheap Yay!) Ellie hasnt quite got the hang of it, but she likes it so far.

She is also finally getting cuddly, here is a pic of her snuggling with her Daddy. Awwwww...

The elusive left foot has been captured...

Ellie has been working on catching her left foot for a few weeks now. On Sunday morning, she succeeded! The right foot is still at large, I expect a capture soon.

Wedding weekend recap

I had such a great weekend. It was so much fun seeing everyone. The wedding was a huge success. There were little glitches, but all in all it was wonderful. I really enjoyed the reception too, it was nice and intimate. The food was pretty darn good too! Anyway, you all know that since you were there. I just wanted to commend Jennifer on pulling off such a lovely wedding. I know she worked her tail off!
Ellie had a good time, she got passed around all night. She was such a good baby (except during the ceremony, whoops!) When we got home around 9:30 she was so tired she could barely eat her cereal. She even slept til 9 the next morning.
Everyone at our house has come down with a nasty cold. Ellie brought it home from daycare, then Rob got it and now I am starting it. Yuck. Oh well, I guess we are strengthening our immune systems together. Haha!
I am planning on posting some pictures later. Ellie reached another adorable milestone this week.
Oh, and I would like to take this opportunity to call my Mom out for not updating. Seriously! I know she has some great pics from the wedding, so put em up!
Back to work...boohoo.

Grrr...health screening

Today was the health screening at Wellmark again. It is optional, and I decided to participate again. They test my blood and tell me im fat, etc. It took 3 sticks this time! OUCH! The 2nd one dug on the top of my hand and I about slapped her with the other hand. Oh well, I always have 1-2 that hurt me and then I get referred to the "expert" who usually gets it on the first try.
Anyway, I finally got my thank yous out today. Since they are late (Im sorry!) I included a cute picture of Ellie. I hope you all enjoy them!
I sent a couple extra pictures to Grandma Lynch, Robs brother and his grandma too. If anyone else wants some, send me your address. (Elisabeth-this means you, I dont have your new address!) Young4133@mchsi.com. I have plenty more to give away.
Better get back to work before someone comes and slaps my knuckles with a ruler. Later.

Busy weekend!

Well, this weekend went by far too quickly. Unfortunately, I have a feeling next weekend will be the same way. (but im excited for the wedding!) I get off at 11:30 on Friday so I can help Jen with any last minute details and get Ellie ready for the rehearsal dinner.
So, this week Rob worked his tail off. He worked 62 hours before he even went to work Friday morning. Yuck! I am glad one of us can do that, but even more so that its not me!
Saturday morning I woke up early with the baby and then went to Shelby's soccer game. She did a great job and even scored a goal. I think Ellie is going to have to play soccer, just so I can buy her little pink Nikes.
Rob, his Dad and uncle Gary spent the whole weekend working on Larrys new deck. It is going to be super nice when they are done. A few snafus occured, but that is what happens in construction. They worked really hard and I think they are doing a great job on it.
Shirley and I went to Jordan Creek mall on Saturday to shop for a dress for Ellie to wear to the wedding. It was torture! There are sooo many adorable things for little girls (1969 jeans and jean jacket at Baby Gap...) but not many things for a wedding. We went thru the whole mall and didnt find anything. So, we tried Burlington Coat factory because I remember seeing some cute dresses there. We got the most adorable little dress (and she can wear it again for Christmas pictures).
Anyway, I better get things ready for tomorrow and get to bed. Im going to try to blog a bit better than I have been, pictures are only so exciting!
I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend and showing Ellie off. She has gotten SO big and is very smiley. See you soon!

I cant decide!

There are just too many adorable Halloween costumes out there for babies. I know Ellie will probably only wear it for like 5 minutes, and will probably spit up all over but I still want her to dress up! The only problem is that there are too many cute ones. So, help me decide. Everyone needs to vote not just Mom and Jen! (if you dont know how, click on the comments link at the bottom of the page, you can do it even if you dont have a blog acct just click anonymous but put your name too!)
Here are the options...(all from babystyle.com)

Pretty little Butterfly

Red Hot Chili Pepper

I dont have a cute name for this one, but isnt it adorable??

I hope this picture doesnt come out huge, but I like the pink caterpillar.

I will be taking votes, and then the winning costume will be revealed on Halloween!

pro pics

Today we went and got Ellie's 3 month pictures taken. She did ok, despite the meltdown she had in the middle of the session. Poor kid was hungry! I guess that is what happens when you eat every 1-1.5 hours. Anyway, the photographer did a great job with her and we got some terrific pictures. I ordered a ton, so I plan on passing out a bunch. Here are a few of my favorites...

3 month birthday

Things have certainly changed around here in the past 3 months. I have never felt such uncertainty, frustration and fear. It is so amazing how much I love this little creature and how she instantly became our #1 priority. (just ask the poor puppies)
Here are a few recent pictures of the Bean. She is rolling from back to side, lifting her head at almost 90 degrees and sleeping from 9-8:30 each night. Last night she tried oatmeal cereal (and she hates it as much as the rice). She is getting so big!
Rolling over and sucking her thumb

Daddy feeds some rice cereal (Buster tries to sneak some)

Big smiles!

Hello Buster!

So strong!
