First Cereal

After agonizing about it, I finally gave Ellie some cereal. All the books say to wait til 4 months, but every one I know who actually has kids says to do it sooner.I have said from the beginning I was going to follow the "rules" but whatever. Im a hypocrite.
So, Ellie is 12 weeks today and she ate a few spoonfuls of cereal. She LOVED it! She couldnt get enough and gobbled it up. She has been so hungry and eating so often lately. I have never seen a baby scream the way she has been, so I broke the rules. Shhhh! Dont tell the cereal police!

I apologize that I never have anything interesting to say. I have become one of those people who just sits around home and takes care of their kid. Well, at least I dont drive a minivan. Haha!

2 months old

Today Ellie got her first shots. The Dr said she is ahead on all the developmental milestones (of course...) and is doing great growing big and strong. She got 4 shots, 2 in each leg. Poor kid! She seems to be taking it ok though, she is just a little fussy but no fever. I took tomorrow off just in case she doesnt feel well. (and cause i miss her!)

Goofy kid

I took some pics last night to give to my boss. He made Ellie a gorgeous quilt. He makes one for each baby that is born to someone in our department. So sweet! Anyway, he has a bulletin board in his office with each baby laying on their quilt. Ellie decided to really cheese it up for the camera.
