Christmas Aftermath

Christmas has come and gone. We had a good time despite the flu running rampant through the entire family. Ellie got lots of cool things to play with. I have been enjoying my time off and dreading the 2nd when I have to go back to the real world.
Anyway, Ellie and I spent the day shopping at Jordan Creek. We searched and searched for a Fisher Price Drop and Roar Dinosaur, but couldnt find one at any stores. (and believe me, I scoured) We did get her the most adorable little jeans from Childrens Place, a fleece from Old Navy and a few toys. I will take pictures tomorrow when she is awake. She is loving this Christmas thing!
Tomorrow we are going to install Ellies convertible carseat in the Equinox. I have had it for months now, but have been waiting until she could sit up. I just ordered the Buggy Bagg (google it, it rocks!) for shopping trips and high chairs. I never thought I could get so excited about a cart cover, but she tried to put her mouth on the cart at Babies R Us today. Ick. Cant wait for that to come in the mail.
Ellie is pretty much sitting up now and still working on crawling. She is enjoying her high chair, and has even tried a few puffs. She loves the cherry ones.
I think Im going to get my hair cut this weekend, maybe take some length off an add a few layers. Sad as it seems, I want my hair cut like Hilary Duff in American Dreamz. What has the world come to?? ;)
Talk to you soon!

Loving her new Puppy
And, apparently it tastes good too. The best part? There is a sensor in the ear and the puppy keeps repeating "Blue Ear".

Almost there, just need momentum!

I believe this is Earths Best Organic Garden Vegetable Dinner. Mmmm, her forehead got more than she did.

Officially sitting up!

New Ellie pics!

So, I havent updated for a while. Ellie has done alot lately! She is on her third round of antibiotics for the ear infection. Poor kid.
She has cut 2 bottom teeth now and they are so cute! She just got over a case of the stomach flu, but she is feeling better today. I swear, its hard to be a baby. She is so happy though, she hardly ever gets upset even when she is sick. She is a trooper!
Oh yeah, and im off work for TEN DAYS! WHOO HOO!!!! I get to pretend to be a stay at home Mommy for a little while.
Anyway- on to the cuteness...

Enjoying a teether fresh from the refrigerator

Thisclose to crawling.

Look Anna! Ellie loves her butterfly sweater. Her adorable Robeez fit too, they are the best baby shoes ever!

Official Christmas Pictures

We went to Portrait Innovations today. Once again, they didnt disappoint! Ellie took some super cute pictures.
She also had her 6 month appt and is doing great. Her ear infections are almost gone and the Pedi says she is right on target for everything developmentally. She weighs in at 16 lb 10 oz and is 27 inches long. Thats 90% for height and 50-75% for weight.
Here are a couple pics from today...

Christmas Bean

Tuesday I took the baby next door to show her tooth off. Grandma and Grandpa Young had their tree all decorated and Ellie loved the lights.

Happy Half Birthday Ellie!

Yesterday Ellie was exactly 6 months. What did she get for her birthday?? A bright shiny white TOOTH! Its so cute. I tried to take a picture, but its impossible. She is a little squirmy wormy.
Not much else to report, just getting ready for a 4 day weekend. Whoohoo!

This one is for Robby

This is frightening...

**Disclaimer: If any of my friends of family members have these awful things in their yard, Im sorry. I will make fun of you. Its just wrong. Like mullets or legwarmers. There I said it****

Anyway, yesterday I went to pick up the Bean from Daycare. My eyes were assaulted when I pulled in the driveway. What has Tabitha bought?? A Santa on a freaking motorcycle! As if that wasnt bad enough, it is approximately the size of my entire car. Oh dear God. I think Wal-Mart has gotten out of control with the "airblown inflatable market"

And for your viewing pleasure....

It also comes in "chopper"

Or, if Nascar is more your style...

This might work for those of you looking for a more understated Christmas theme. No one can resist this 12 foot tall by 10 foot wide Snow Globe. My god...what has the world come to??

Retrospective

6 days old

6 months old

Things I couldnt do 6 months ago...
- Dress and diaper an octopus
- Willingly pick someone elses boogers
- Accept the fact that I smell like vomit 24/7 due to reflux
- Change the stinkiest diapers in the world. Whew!
- Accept 6 hours of sleep as "a good night"

But its all worth it for a moment like this.

Bean is becoming such a little goofball. She is so active, she rolls all over the floor and holds her head up. She loves mexican food. She giggles like crazy and belly laughs now. Its the best sound in the world! Piper and the Bean have formed quite the relationship already. She pulls his hair, kicks him in the head and he licks her ears. Buster is still sniffing and trying to figure out what this squirming litte creature is doing in his house. He runs away from her and hides on the couch where its safe. Not for long!

Anyway, Im just excited about getting her pictures done, going to her 6 month checkup, and taking 10 days off for Christmas! Hopefully we will have a chance to see everyone. Later!
